As OriginStake, we are supportive of the direction proposed in SIP-00010.
Reducing the staking thresholds meaningfully lowers the barrier for smaller holders to participate directly in network security and governance. Under the current parameters, many users are effectively pushed toward indirect participation through liquid staking or other intermediaries rather than native staking.
By making native staking more accessible, this proposal not only improves decentralization but also creates a healthier foundation for the broader DeFi ecosystem on Story. Easier entry into staking can coexist with liquid staking solutions, allowing users to choose between flexibility and direct participation, rather than being forced into a single path.
From a validator perspective, we see this as a positive step toward attracting a wider delegator base, while still maintaining reasonable guardrails against spam and excessive state growth.
