Foundation Delegation Program – Validator Questionnaire
Following our initial announcement and evaluation framework overview, we’re pleased to release the Validator Questionnaire – the next step in the updated Foundation Delegation Program.

Before diving in, we want to extend our sincere thanks to all validators who have participated in the forum discussions and posted their introductions publicly in the Validator Introductions section. Your engagement, transparency, and willingness to share your team’s background and capabilities publicly demonstrates exactly the kind of active participation we hope to see in the Story ecosystem. This community-driven approach strengthens trust across the network and helps everyone – validators, delegators, and the broader Story community – make more informed decisions.
About the Questionnaire
The Validator Questionnaire is the primary data collection mechanism for the Foundation Delegation Program’s rubric scoring system. Your responses will be evaluated against the three categories outlined in Part 2:
- Technical Excellence (400 points)
- Story Ecosystem Contributions (400 points)
- Business & Sustainability (200 points)
The questionnaire is designed to capture the information needed to assess each validator fairly and consistently across these dimensions.

If you have not yet posted your Validator Introduction, please do so in the Validator Introductions section. Your public introduction complements your questionnaire submission and helps the community learn more about your team.
How Scoring Works
Each validator’s questionnaire responses will generate a rubric score up to 1,000 total points. These scores will then be used to rank validators and assign them to one of four delegation tiers. Higher-scoring validators will be placed in higher tiers, which correspond to larger delegation amounts and longer commitment periods.
The tier assignments help the Story Foundation determine appropriate delegation allocations for each qualified validator.
A Note on Our Role
To be clear about our process: the Story DevCo team conducts the research, due diligence, and evaluation of validator submissions. We compile the findings and present our recommendations to the Story Foundation. However, we do not make final decisions on how much to delegate or which teams receive delegation – those decisions rest with the Story Foundation based on the information and analysis we provide.
Our goal is to ensure the evaluation process is thorough, credibly neutral, and transparent.

Please ensure your questionnaire is submitted before this deadline. Late submissions may not be considered in this evaluation cycle.
